On December 8, 2024, the Hapacin Outreach Services team visited Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Karu, Abuja, Nigeria, for a hepatitis awareness program.
We conducted a hepatitis awareness program, during which we educated people about the illness, its causes, and the vaccination process.
During the outreach, they also screened persons for Hepatitis B and C, counseled them, and administered the vaccines.
The hepatitis awareness program was marked by activities such as
- Screening for hepatitis B and C
- Counseling of affected persons
- Vaccination against hepatitis B for those eligible.
