On the 28th of July, 2024, team Hapacin Outreach Services celebrated World Hepatitis Day.
World Hepatitis Day is a day set aside by the World Hepatitis Alliance for the commemoration of hepatitis.
It is usually marked by activities like awareness talks, screening of available persons, counselling, and vaccination of eligible persons.
Hapacin Outreach Services carried out the event at the All Christians Fellowship Mission (ACFM), Maitama, Abuja, Nigeria.
The 2024 event was marked with hepatitis activities such as:
- Awareness talk
- Screening for hepatitis B and C
- Counseling
- Vaccination against hepatitis B for those eligible
- Providing treatment solutions, among others.
